While I was out and about, attempting to get some errands done in the holiday traffic and shopping rush, I decided to try a Mexican place that I noticed yesterday. Located right next door to The Slaw Dogs is Sausalito Mexican Restaurant. With reasonable prices and a large menu selection, I decided to give it a try.
I opted for the Chicken plate special. I usually go for Carnitas but I wanted to change things up a bit. For $6.50, I could get 4 corn tortillas, chicken, rice, beans, guacamole and tortilla chips.
Overall, it was pretty good but nothing special. I still prefer El Patron in Altadena.
