This is my 100th blog post. On TV shows, they celebrate when they make it to 100 episodes. So I feel like I should do something. Write something profound in honor of this momentous achievement. But the truth is, I can’t think of anything profound to write.
I guess I could reflect on all that I have gone through since I started this blog. I have moved several times. I have dated several different guys but managed to maintain my singleton status. I started seeing a therapist . . . and then a psychiatrist. My Endo got worse and started to affect my muscles so now I am in physical therapy. A lot of movies came out that have similar storylines resembling parts of my life. I finally won NaNoWriMo this year, achieving 50,000 words. I have managed to stay at the same job this entire time. And even though I have moved to different apartments/houses, I haven’t left Los Angeles. That is a big step. There was a point in my life where I was moving across country once a year.
I personally feel like I have grown up and I am more aware of who I am and what I want. I still have a lot of work to do but I have come a long way over the past few years.
I have learned that there are certain things that you shouldn’t write about in your blog. I have gotten myself into trouble here and there with things I have written. But I learned my lesson . . . at least I hope I have.
But I think the biggest thing I have learned since I started this blog is that it is fun to write a blog. It’s nice to be creative and escape from the daily grind. And it is nice to get feedback and advice from those who can relate to whatever it is you are going through. With a blog, you learn you are not alone in the world.
So here’s to a 100 more blog posts! Salute!
;+) My baby is getting all grown up!!
